Join Friends of SICSA for their annual Bark n’ Bling at SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center! The event will take place in the Humane Education Center each day.
On Friday, guests can enjoy the Sip n’ Shop preview night for a $5 donation at the door. This night will include a glass of wine or soft drink, refreshments, and a free raffle ticket for an exclusive prize. Those attending will have the first choice of the amazing jewelry selection!
On Saturday, guests can enjoy free admission to the event. There will be hundreds of new or gently used costume and semiprecious jewelry items including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, pins, and more!
All proceeds will benefit the SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center!

This Dayton Opera World Premiere was created by a team of four of the most talented individuals in today’s opera world. The story was sparked by uncovering a unique gem in Dayton’s past right in the middle of Dayton’s Woodlawn Cemetery. FINDING WRIGHT is the story of human connection and emotion, centering on the life of Katharine Wright, sister of Dayton’s two famous brothers of flight: Orville and Wilbur Wright. With music by award-winning composer Laura Kaminsky, performed by the Dayton Philharmonic under the direction of conductor Susanne Sheston, FINDING WRIGHT is the first-ever full-length opera commissioned for and presented by Dayton Opera. From February 25th through the 27th, museum visitors will become race spectators! Cheer on your favorite Micro Drone while watching timed races throughout the museum’s Korean War Gallery. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience flying a drone with computer-based simulators provided by the museum’s Education Division and then fly an actual drone in a designated area courtesy of AFRL and the museum’s Education Division.
